Vision Statement
Gosforth High School will be the highest achieving Comprehensive school in the region through the relentless pursuit of quality in teaching and learning, languages for all, training of staff and technological innovation.
We must:
- ensure that all students achieve to their full potential
- demonstrate clarity of purpose in all our dealings and interactions
- create an ethos that has professionalism, courtesy, open mindedness and
harmony at its core
Aspirations
We wish to serve the community by offering a Full Service School that meets the educational, social and recreational needs of students by offering a rich and balanced curriculum where choices are wide-ranging and where academic, vocational, practical and creative opportunities and equally valued.
The Every Child Matters agenda
We will deliver the five strands of the Every Child Matters agenda through partnership with both our parents and Local Authority services. The school will deliver a quality of education fully supported by a well developed pastoral support system.
